Vittoria Colizza receives the Prize Louis-Daniel Beauperthuy of the French Academy of Sciences for her contribution to the advances in the field of computational epidemiology.
This is a biannual prize "awarded to a scientist (French or foreigner) to reward epidemiological studies that have contributed to improve the fate of humanity, as the ones conducted by Louis-Daniel Beauperthuy". The full motivation accompanying the prize is reported here.
