With the KO meeting at INSERM, today we start the HARMSFLU project funded by the ANR (French national agency for research) for 39 months under the grant call 'numerical methods'. Our lab coordinates the project, in collaboration with the InVS (National Institute for Health Surveillance) and the CNRS team at the CPT (Center for Theoretical Physics) in Marseille. The project proposes an interdisciplinary research effort with the potential to transform our understanding of the population-disease-encironment system and our ability to plan/react/control a newly emerging pandemic.
