Congratulations Paolo!
Today Paolo Bajardi defended his PhD thesis at the University of Marseille and successfully obtained the PhD degree in Physics with the congratulations of an impressed jury. Paolo presented his research work conducted during the PhD program and focused on two major directions of research – GLEaM and the modeling of influenza, and the study and modeling of livestock trade movements and new techniques to optimize surveillance systems for animal infectious diseases, conducted in collaboration with Alain Barrat at the CNRS and University of Marseille and the Istituto Zooprofilattico Abruzzo-Molise in Italy.
