Short bio Olivier Rizk holds a Master's in Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, where he developed competencies in investigating disease transmission, selecting appropriate control methods and designing, implementing, and evaluating control programs. He has applied these skills in fieldwork, notably in the Central African Republic, contributing to real-world infectious disease control efforts.
Olivier is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health with a specialisation in biostatistics, modelling, and health data science at Sorbonne Université. As part of this programme, he has joined the EPIcx lab as an intern, working on modelling geographic vaccination strategies for COVID-19 in France. Research activities
Olivier's research interests include infectious disease modelling, epidemiological surveillance, and statistical analysis of outbreak dynamics, with the aim of informing data-driven public health decisions. |
