In October 2019, Elisabetta graduated in Mathematics for Life and Data Science from Trento University, where she enrolled in the path in modeling, statistics, and analysis of biosystems. In March 2019, she undertook a master's internship at Fondazione Bruno Kessler, within the Dynamical Processes in Complex Societies (DPCS) research unit. Starting from August 2020, she joins the Epicx lab where she will carry out the Ph.D. program in Public Health School.
Elisabetta is interested in infectious disease modeling and computational epidemiology. During her internship within the DPCS unit, Elisabetta studied the transmission dynamics of an antimicrobial pathogen in hospital settings using microbiological data. In her Ph.D. project, she will deal with epidemic models on temporal networks to study COVID-19 spreading in school settings.
